Dear Mr. Cameron:
\J
Per our telephone conversation, I am enclosing some
literature describing our computer controlled manipulators. These
devices are general purpose machines intended to replace manual labor
in industrial applications where manufacturing, assembly, inspection
or test runs are short enough and varied enough to make it difficult
to justify special purpose hard automation. They also have
applications in the medical instrumentation field as positioners of
examination and sensor probes and tools. As a truly universal
machine, with humanoid capabilities, application of our manipulators
is only limited by ones imagination.
During the past 2 years we have sold more than a dozen
manipulators to universities, government laboratories, and corporate
research groups. This includes Stanford University, M.I.T., SRI,
JPL, National Bureau of Standards, Naval Research Labs., General
Motors Corp., and Western Electric Corp.
We are currently interested in selling manipulators for use
in prototype manufacturing, assembly, test, medical, and research
applications.
We are also interested in talking about merger possibilities
with a firm such as Varian Associates who may be interested in
furthur development of this manupulator system for their own use, or
as a commercial product.
Please feel free to contact me for furthur information or for
a demonstration.\.
